Terms and Conditions
Your order will normally be dispatched within 48 hours and delivered within 4 working days of despatch. If there is any problem we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange delivery to any P O Box number within the UK.
Please note: All Deliveries require a signature.
Please also note that the delivery charge during checkout is for UK mainland addresses by courier definition only any items ordered that are for shipment to Highlands or Islands or anywhere overseas may incur further carraige charges - we will endeavor to keep these to a minimum and will always try to find the best cost effective method for your particular location
Standard delivery charge applied by this website is £5 and covers upto 25 kilos
Certain items (awning rails) are overlength for standard courier rates and have a surcharge applied to cover the oversize charges we get from the courier
Right to Cancel
You may cancel your order at any point from the time of placing the order up to seven working days after the day you receive your goods. This upholds your right under European Law to a "cooling off" period. To exercise this right please notify us in writing (by e-mail, fax or letter), within seven working days from the day you receive your order, of your wish to cancel your order. If the goods have already been sent you will need to return them to us in their original packaging at your own cost. Once we receive the goods we will process a refund for you as quickly as possible.
Please note that you have a duty to look after the goods you wish to return. They must be UNUSED and in good condition when we receive them. In particular this means we will NOT be able to accept returned tents that have been pitched, even inside, as this renders them second-hand and unsellable. If at our discression we decide to accept returns on pitched or unpackaged tents then the maximun refund that will apply is 50% after a handling fee of 50% has been applied to the value of goods after actual postage costs are deducted
WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT RETURNED GOODS IF THEY ARE STILL OF MERCHANDISABLE QUALITY. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNED GOODS IF THEY HAVE OBVIOUSLY BEEN WORN OR USED.
"But what if I discover that they are faulty?"
Don't worry, if on receipt of your goods you discover they are faulty or damaged please send an e-mail as soon as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org We will either refund the goods, replace or repair them or issue a credit note depending on the circumstances.
If you need to return an item we want to make it as easy and painless as possible for you as possible. In order to do this we need your help, so please take the following steps so that we can process your package on its return.
1) Either e-mail or phone us and explain the situation.
2) Package the item appropriately and write your order number on the outside.
3) Enclose a brief note explaining the situation and what action you would like us to take. Remember to write your order number on the note so that we can identify your goods.
4) Remember to place a new order on our website if you require a replacement for an unsuitable item.
If you follow these 4 simple steps we will be able to process your return quickly and efficiently.
Remember, we post out and receive many packages a week. Therefore it is impossible for us to process anonymous packages turning up with no order number written on the packaging and no explanatory note enclosed.

Refusal of Transaction
Lightning Leisure Ltd reserves the right to refuse any order placed for any reason whatsoever. Non-acceptance of an order may arise from, but is not limited to, product unavailability, lack of payment authorisation from your cardholder, or the identification of an error within the price or product details. We will contact you immediately if for whatever reason we are unable to fulfil your order.
Lightning Leisure Ltd reserves the right to withdraw any products from the Lightning Leisure Ltd website at any time and/or to remove or edit content from the site. We will incur no liability to you or any third party if we withdraw a product from the website.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Lightning Leisure Ltd reserves the right to alter these Terms & Conditions at any time without specifically notifying its customers other than via the Lightning Leisure Ltd website. These alterations will apply to any orders received after the Terms & Conditions have been amended on the website.
Short Delivery and Damaged Goods
Any damages or shortages must be reported WITHIN 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY by TELEPHONE, no claims will be entertained after this time. Orders received after 4pm on a Friday can be reported by 12pm Monday.
IMPORTANT - All deliveries need to be signed for. If there is no-one available to sign, then a card will be left by the courier, a second attempt will be made on the next working day. If there is still no-one available the consignment will be held at the couriers depot for 3 days.
If you do not contact the courier to arrange collection the consignment will be returned to us and you will be liable for the additional delivery charges and also for the cost of re-shipping the item(s).
Similarly, if after a delivery attempt has been made unsuccessfully and an alternative delivery address is required for the second attempt which lies outside the original delivery depot, an additional surcharge must be paid to cover courier transport costs from one depot to another.
Where deposits are taken to guarantee stock of goods in short supply these are non refundable as once our ordered quota of goods is allocated sales are refused to guarantee your item on deposit.
